Sailing Saturday was pretty typical for Newport Beach with the current getting really weird on a leg or two on the beach side of Lido Island.  Sunday was supposed to be a bit cooler with light winds and a chance of rain late.  I guess the front came through a bit early so race two was pretty dang puffy and race three was somewhat puffy. 
 
Again a very strong A Fleet showed up with fifteen boats.  Stu Robertson won with his soon to be son-in-law Whit Bachelor (sailing with his fiancee) taking second.  Walter Johnson swapped Ryans after the first day and took third.  Charles and Joanna [ed. Smith] won the B Fleet.  Absolutely amazing for their first regatta in a new boat.
