2003 Harry Wood Memorial Regatta

Wonderful racing conditions - sunny skies, 69 degrees, medium breeze, low current! Winds were generally WSW with oscillations (generally right shifts) providing a good challenge for all.
There were three divisions offered (A, B, and Grand Master). All divisions were sailed together but scored separately. The Grand Master division is for teams with skippers over the age of 50.
Mark Gaudio showed his top form by winning every race - with room to spare. Barry Wood, son of Harry Wood (d. 1999), sailing with his daughter Andrea, put together a very strong series to win the B division by 13 points. Barry also bested all the other Grand Masters (skipper over 50), including those in the A division!
Take home trophies were awarded to the top 3 A sailors, the top B team, and the top Grand Master team. Perpetual trophies for each division will be inscribed with winners.
