2005 Fleet 59 (Morro Bay, CA) Championships

Light winds and beautiful weather prevailed for the Fleet 59 Championships.  Tom Jenkins and Christina Christina Campolmi won all 5 races but had their lead taken away a few times during the races and always managed to win each race.  The next 3 boats were battling it out and went back and forth for all 5 races, with Don & Kit Lockwood winning 2nd place with 16 points.  Larry and Liz Salas were tied for 3rd with 17 points, but winning the tie break over Pat and Dot Rygh.  Peter and Anita Rothenbuecher were in 5th and Brian Watson and Pandora Nash-Karner in 6th.  The day ended with tired and hungry sailors enjoying a great chicken dinner after the trophy presentation.
