Jim and Sarah Mackey Win Inaugural Fleet 80 Championships!
A good time was had by all at Lido Fleet 80's inaugural fleet championship regatta supported by the Lake Sammamish YC. We drew an impressive 5 Lido turnout of what had been a 3 Lido fleet. With two of our sailors sailing their Lidos for the first time today - and looking quite impressive out of the chute. Wind was light and variable, lots of surprises and lead changes. We had at least 2 "photo finishes". Rain held off almost till the final race was completed. We had hot chocolate, trophies, hand heaters, but what really made it great was old and new friends meeting up and having a great day.
